Parekhplast India Limited has collaborated with India’s leading food company – Britannia, to design a unique mould for flavored milk bottles. Teams from both organizations visited various plants, deliberated bottle designs and jointly worked to develop a design with plastic moils on bottle tops to ensure complete sterilization – a stringent requirement of any food company.
The production of effervescent tablet tubes and spiral desiccant closures generally posed a problem in India due to the intricate moulds required for the same. Extensive research was done using samples from across the world to create products, unique to that in the market. By synergizing two different technologies used in different parts of the world, Parekhplast effectively created a cost competitive, profitable mould for effervescent tablet tubes and spiral desiccant closures.
Parekhplast partnered with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, to develop a new unique mould for Digihalers – India’s first Digital Dose Inhaler. This next-gen inhaler provides accurate digital dose counter along with low dose warning indicator to enable asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients to track adherence to their therapy.
Parekhplast first started by creating a unique mould for Aswini and later partnered with them for multiplying capacities. Through collaboration, both companies together designed moulds, selected machinery and jointly invested time, money and effort in the project.
With a breakthrough in designing, Parekhplast created special buckets for Asian Paints and effectively reduced pail weights by 20 – 25%. Through various rounds of designing and trials such as transport worthiness, stacking test, roll- ability test etc., we created the perfect product for Asian Paints.
Parekhplast has collaborated on various new moulds and product development with Ajmal, a leading manufacturer and distributor of Perfumes and powders. Parekhplast is offering complete product solution to Ajmal Perfumes, right from mould development, product manufacturing to decoration and dispatch.
